I scream, you scream, we all scream for unlimited amounts of Ice Cream. The annual Super Scooper All-You-Can-Eat Ice Cream Festival once again takes place at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia Fourth of July weekend. Cool off and treat yourself to as much of your favorite dessert as you lick…I mean like. The sweetest part of the festival isn’t even the bottomless ice cream, 100% of the proceeds go to the Joshua Kahan Fund to help find a cure for pediatric leukemia and the Children’s Hospital Oncology Division.

The Joshua Kahan Fund was founded in memory of Joshua Kaha, a two-year-old boy who lost his battle with AML Leukimia in 1997. In honor of their son’s love for ice cream, Jeffrey and Michele Kahan created the Joshua Kahn Fund to help find a cure for pediatric leukemia and improve the quality of life for pediatric cancer patients and their families.  It raises funds to advance carefully selected, scientific research projects, while perpetuating Josh’s name and memory through all of its actions.  Over the past 15 years the ice cream event has raised $1,500,000 dollars.

Ice cream lovers will be able to choose treats from more than 20 companies including Haagen-Dazs, Ben & Jerry’s, Edy’s, Starbucks, J&J Snack Foods, Good Humor-Breyers, Turkey Hill, Jack & Jill, Shoprite, Philadelphia Water Ice Company, Mom’s Water Ice, Friendly’s, Bassetts, and Fruitstix.  Get as many scoops as you want and stay as long as you’d like.

What are you waiting for? Grab a spoon and get a mouthful of ice cream for a great cause. Learn more about The Joshua Kahn Fund here
